They couldn’t have been more helpful.

They couldn’t have been more helpful. From the initial contact regarding payment, to helping me in the final hours that I needed to wait for transport to the airport. The room was stunning. The bed so comfortable. The nougat delicious. Couldn’t have been any better. I hope to come back soon.

Lovely and beautifully designed guesthouse

Freshly renovated and beautifully designed guesthouse with lovely staff. The breakfast is tasty...you can have it by the Pool in the nice backyard. This will my place to go when I return to Stellenbosch.

A beautiful guesthouse in a convenient location with secure parking on site. Wendy, Anina and all the staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and extremely tasty. Highly recommended.

A fine place in a great location in Stellenbosch

We were very happy, most things worked just fine and staff were wonderful. The room was a little damp and not to have the bathroom separated was a little awkward.

Immaculate and high quality accommodation

Immaculately decorated. Pristine,Tasteful. Superbly comfortable superkingbed and bed linen with a high( poss 600 plus?) thread count. Quiet too, so an excellent nights sleep despite the guest house being centrally located. Breakfast of fruit yoghurt and granola followed by a home cooked breakfast wrap was beautiful and nicely presented. Book early if you want an outside table as you will otherwise have to sit indoors and watch other tables stay empty if prebooked guests are late for breakfast! Irksome!!Pool is small a bit cold at the his time of year so didn’t use. Sunday market in Main Street has a delicious bakery stall as well as the usual crafts and clothing stalls. Recommend Helena’s for an evening meal. Would have scored higher if there had been recycling bins and if room service didn’t automatically and unnecessarily replace my (superbly fluffy) towels. Also room was over cleaned given my 2 night stay this was unwelcome especially as items were moved around and in some instances removed as” waste”. Also coffee served on small cups so had to wait for service to refill ! Use of cafetières or self service would assist z. Apart from these items overall a great stay

Very welcoming stay in Stellenbosch

From the moment we arrived - slightly earlier than intended - to the moment we left, service was really friendly and relaxed. The residence is delightful, and when we went for a run on our last day, they were only too happy to set a table outside by the pool for us for breakfast - and a very nice breakfast it was too! Also very helpful with recommending places to eat in town and a guided wine tour. Would definitely consider returning when in the area.

Ideal for touring Stellenbosch

We only stayed here one night during our travels. We booked the green room which was beautifully appointed. Lots of nice homely touches, all spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. The bed was very comfortable. A large well equipped bathroom. A fridge with a bar of soft drinks and beers. Excellent breakfast on the patio. Nespresso coffee machine/tea facilities with biscotti biscuits. Fast wifi. A smart and safe area. Next door to the Lanzerac wine yard which is beautiful for wine tasting and where we enjoyed a superb dinner. Ane and her team are both welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout your visit. This is definitely a must stay if you are in the lovely Stellenbosch area.

Could not recommend this highly enough. Great location and walkable to the main centre. Many restaurants close by. Staff helped with my restaurant and golf bookings. S Uber experience. I will stay here again.

TLDR - amazing stay with the best breakfast, highly recommend for your stay in Stellenbosch We stayed in for one night and our stay was EXCELLENT (we wished we could have stayed longer). The staff were very friendly and communicative/responsive to our needs. We felt safe with the gated parking, and the location is next to Dorp Street, which was within walking distance of Asta where we ordered delicious take-away dinner. The rooms were beautiful with fresh flowers and the design is aesthetically very pleasing. Room was clean, bathroom and shower were very nice and water pressure was very good! There was also an air conditioning unit, although the breeze was quite nice through the patio. We also enjoyed the balcony and there was a nice aroma from some flowers outdoors (perhaps jasmine?). The highlight of our stay was breakfast. We had our choice of beverage (coffee, tea, water, juice, etc) and had yogurt with home-made granola and fresh fruits, honey, seeds, and cinnamon. We then had an English breakfast of eggs, mushrooms, bacon, and toast with butter and jelly. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful — even my father-in-law who doesn’t like yogurt loved it!! The owners came by to say hello and check on us and were very friendly and offered to help us with our holiday including giving us tips and recommendations for the remainder of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and when we are back in Stellenbosch, will surely be back.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man kann alles gut zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Frühstück wird serviert und ist abwechslungsreich. Das einzige wenn zu bemängelnde waren die zu weichen Matratzen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

This was a beautiful property. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. All amenities were provided. Extra care was given to details from the lotions and washes, to the coffes and teas, to the treat left on the pillow at night. The breakfast was amazing, the staff was welcoming and thought was given to safety. The location is close enough to walk tobrestaurants and shopping. I would gladly go back to stay and would highly recommend others staying here.
