The lodge is situated amongs the wineyards and is really a pleasure to stay at. Rooms are great, bathrooms has everything you require and the bed is very comfartable. You even get a bottle of red wine when you enter your room complimentary from the owners.

Staying there was a good experience. Comfortable rooms, well maintained, good breakfast, friendly staff and excellent drinking water from the tap (increasingly rare). The adjacent street is easy to hear if you don't choose the back side. The pool was just okay only. Price-performance ratio is good and I would be happy to come back.

Very welcoming, pleasant and made staying easy because they covered the issues that most travellers to a country would like to know or experience. There were specific little touches in our room that stood out. The welcoming message and of course the delicious wine and view from our room. Also noted was their consideration for environmental issues. I don’t explore the cape fully but will Come back to Lovane again given the opportunity. Thank you. I will enjoy the wines I brought back to London.

Beautiful place but service could be improved

Beautiful clean place, however some things could be improved. We arrived 30 minutes before check in time which always is a gamble. However, normally you get the rooms if they are ready. Here we were invited to sit more or less outside the rooms to wait. This gave us an insight on the fact that the rooms were ready for check in but they still made us wait until 13:58 before we were offered to get access to the rooms.

Beautiful, relaxing, small winery. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked last minute and didn’t notice the stay included a complementary wine tasting, which we missed because we checked in late. Claudine made sure to let us know and arrange the wine tasting the next day for us in their cozy and beautiful cellar. It was a delight to try the wines and hear about them from Claudine. We would definitely recommend Lovane for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place.

Excelente escolha!!!

Tive uma estadia maravilhosa neste pequeno hotel boutique localizado no coração de uma vinícola em Stellenbosch! O ambiente é simplesmente encantador, com linda vista para os vinhedos e um charme rústico que combina perfeitamente com a região rural. O atendimento foi impecável, prinicipalmente pela Claudine. Equipe atenciosa e disposta a tornar nossa experiência ainda mais especial. O quarto era confortável, bem decorado e tranquilo, ideal para relaxar após um dia explorando a região. A localização é um pouco afastada do centro da cidade, mas para quem deseja escapar da agitação da cidade e se imergir na paz e beleza do campo é perfeita. Além disso, tivemos a oportunidade de degustar vinhos incríveis produzidos na própria vinícola, o que tornou a experiência ainda mais memorável. O único ponto a ser observado é o horário limite para o check-in, que é até as 17h. Isso pode ser um pouco desafiador para quem chega mais tarde, mas, tirando isso, a estadia foi perfeita.

Die Einfahrt zur Unterkunft mit den Weinreben auf beiden Seiten hatte bereits einen Wow-Effekt. Wir haben eines der schönsten Zimmer gebucht, die Deluxe-Suite. Sehr stilvoll und passend zu der Weinregion eingerichtetes Zimmer mit großem Bad und Doppeldusche. Etwas irritierend war ein Fenster und eine Tür im Zimmer, welche zu und abgeschlossen waren, aus welchen man nicht herausschauen bzw. betreten konnte. Die Umgebung war sehr ruhig, es befanden sich Schafe und Hühner auf dem Grundstück, was an eine kleine Farm erinnerte. Die Unterkunft befindet sich etwas abseits von Stellenbosch, Restaurants etc. sind nicht fußläufig, aber mit Uber waren wir trotzdem mobil. Die Unterkunft bietet auch eine kostenlose Weinprobe für Übernachtungsgäste an, welche wir wahrgenommen haben. Auch gab es bei Ankunft eine Weinflasche umsonst. Das Frühstück war super und ausreichend. Empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Excellent is how I would sum up our stay at Lovane! The attention to detail was palatable in our room....welcome bottle of wine with nougat :-)….fridge with more wine and beers....extra blow-dryer for the ladies with long hair...beautiful view of the vineyard. There was nothing to complain about and much more on offer. Included was a sumptuous breakfast and a free wine tasting...what is there not to like..? :-)

Good location for Stellenbosch wine region

The welcome was warm, the room was clean and comfortable, the pool was small but very welcomed, and the breakfast was tasty. There was a vineyard between the hotel and the busy road, but there was very little noise from that. There were lovely views towards the mountains. There was security fencing around the property, which was reassuring.

A gem in the heart of the Cape Winelands!

This is an amazing place in the heart of the Winelands. The accommodation is excellent, clean, with soft bedding and spacious king size beds. Views of the Stellenbosch mountains. Staff excellent. Nice breakfast! Many wine farms such as Spier a few minutes away. Town of Stellenbosch just 4 km down the road. A little gem!
