Franschhoek Country house hotel
Well equipped rooms set in lovely gardens in Franschhoek valley. Complimentary shuttle service to town. Very good breakfast Bikes on site to rent and explore the nearby vineyards.

Best place to stay in Franschoek
We had a two story flat!! With excellent Internet connection, even during a big thunderstorm. Beautiful bathroom, nice mini bar selection so we could have a drink and watch the wine train go by in the rain that day. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Very nice property. The Villa room we had was extremely large and comfortable. Breakfast was very sufficient. They offered shuttle service into and out of town which was very reliable and efficient.

The perfect place for a luxurious and lovely stay
Magnificent property and grounds! Lovely garden and pool. We really enjoyed our short stay here - relaxing, luxurious, inviting - and would have enjoyed staying much longer. Very convenient and great staff. Highly recommended.

Amazing hotel in stunning grounds!
Stunning grounds!!! Lovely mountain views from the pools. Beautiful big room with four-poster bed, and a large bathroom with lavender toiletries. Excellent service. The only thing I think needs to be addressed is the breakfast. On our first morning, it was full to the brim with delicious things – but on the second morning, there was about 30% the amount of things as the previous day, including leftover pastries and cheeses which didn’t look good. Would also have loved to be helped with our many bags at departure time. But all in all, this was an incredible stay.

Some mornings are quieter but all options should still be available and of course well presented. Expensive for what it is
Beautiful setting but the rooms are dates for the 5 star rating and price. Great breakfast though and (I can imagine) a good spot for families or groups visiting the winelands.

Lovely hotel, great sized rooms and heated pool. The hot and cold breakfast choices were great; the waffles with fresh fruit were delicious. Details such as the free minibus service, gated parking and personal touches in the room were thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. I would love to come back. The staff were fantastic

Fabulous!
Fantastic hotel in a wonderful resort. Absolutely perfect in every way. A surprising and highly valued bonus was the free shuttle bus service for dropping off and picking up anywhere in the town.

The hotel is located on the main road, very close to everything. The breakfast is perfect!! The whole place and decoration feels like little Italy :)

Simply the best!
A superb hotel, thoroughly recommended, the staff couldn’t do enough for you! From the time we arrived to when we left a week later we couldn’t fault a thing. The hotel is such a relaxing space, 2 pools with amazing mountain views - just excellent. Ben and his staff were meticulous, they went above and beyond to ensure your stay was what you expected. All we can say in summary is we will definitely be back. And thank you for a superb experience.

Charming hotel with an amazing view
We loved our stay at the Franschhoek county house and villas. We stayed in a building that was constructed in 1890 and used for perfume production. The room was charming and the view was AMAZING! the staff was terrific and dinner at the restaurant was good. Breakfast was included and it was really great! Overall we would recommend it wholeheartedly!

The hotel went above and beyond to give us an amazing stay for our anniversary. I have never had such impeccable personal service and care at a hotel. Foster at our last dinner in the restaurant deserves a notable mention for his excellent hospitality!

We loved it.
Food great, location perfect and the villa we were allocated was wonderful. Only complaint was bed a little hard but this is one hotel not to be missed on any trip to the Western Cape.

We had a wonderful stay at the Franschhoek Country House and Villas this January. First off, as a couple visiting Franschhoek on holiday, with plenty of food and wine tasting on the agenda, we found the location perfect. It is close to the amenities of the centre of Franschhoek (as well as a couple of the best wineries in the area) but secluded enough to feel as though you are truly in the countryside. Second, the accommodation was superb. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a villa suite and it was fantastic on all fronts, with some beautiful views. Third, the service we received was also top-notch, with all the staff contributing to making our stay a good one. We also very much enjoyed eating at the Monneaux Restaurant, which is great for a lighter meal (much needed after sampling so much of the food and wine in the area during the day). We wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Franschhoek Country House and Villas again.

Franschooek is such a lovely place, wish we'd had more time here. Couldn't recommend Country House and Villas enough! The room was lovely, we had a lounge upstairs with a great view on the terrace. The staff were incredibly helpful and just lovely.

Beautiful venue and villas located right in Franschhoek. Great accessibility to local wineries in either Franschhoek or Stellenbosch. Rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Our only regret was that we did not stay longer! Would definitely return and recommend to others.

NIce hotel a little way out from Franschoek town
Massive room which was traditionally furnished and generally comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful but the two pools could do with cleaning and wasp flies were a nuisance around the pool area.

Great hotel, let down only by the Restaurant
Stayed here three times now and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the quality of the food in the restaurant was disappointing and they need address this, as it lets the hotel down and there is high quality competition nearby. Breakfast and service, as good as ever!
