"I’m not sure how this can be called a resort in any way. It’s an old motel, updated, and the only positive amenity is a decent locals bar on the property (although there’s plenty of bars nearby). The room was fair sized but with little storage for clothing. Four pigeon holes attached to the wall and a small rack with four hangers. "We have stayed here many times. The staff is great and property is beautiful."

"The room was clean and had everything that I needed. The tv is too small it needs to be a 65'. The door to the other unit that is not in use needs taken out as the noises from the othe unit is like they are in the same roon with you. The lighting on the side of the building could be better, but all in all it was ok and I would return again. "

"We travel to this area once a month and have stayed at various hotels in Ft. Myers. Howard Johnson's has become our place to stay. Amanda at the front desk friendly and gets us checked in quickly. The room is clean and we're able to park in front of our door."
