"This was one of our favourite stays while visiting Nova Scotia/Cape Breton. The hotel was kept very clean and cozy and we loved that there was a tea/coffee room at the end of every hallway on each floor. Our room was quaint and beautifully vintage and there was unique art hung across all the walls. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sydney. Loved that it was so centrally located as well! We were able to walk to and from the concert venue for Celtic Colours which was a huge plus."

"We had a good stay at the Quality Inn in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The suites and halls were clean and the breakfast was good. Since the weather was cooler, the fan in our room kept turning on and off and was quite loud. I managed to sleep fine and so did my son, but I could see that it would be a problem if someone was a light sleeper or bothered by that kind of noise. The other downside was the location where it was easy to get to other amenities by car, there wasn't very much that was walk-able and so that is something to keep in mind. If you are driving, though, it really isn't an issue."
