"This is a cute little place and the room rate was a steal! The owners were very nice and check-in was quick. Room was recently renovated and is cute. The back is a large sitting area and access to the river. We would definitely return."

"Location is ideal for canyon lake. I had trouble with the lock when I first arrived and the owner was reachable and helpful. Unfortunately the room was less than ideal and did not look like the pictures on expedia. It smelled moldy and musty, the shower had significant amounts of mildew/mold. As a solo woman traveler I would have appreciated a more secure room. The owner has access to the room and there is no internal lock to feel more secure. I stayed two nights out of a 6 night booking as the second morning there was a huge cockroach. All things combined I was not comfortable continuing my stay. I contacted the owner via email and expedia with no remedy. I would avoid staying here. "

"It was a basic cabin that could have been cleaner but wasn't terrible. I thought it was gonna be a lot more secluded but it's in the middle of a tight group of cabins and RV spots, so there's not much of a view and definitely no real privacy unless you're inside. "

Just wanted to have a nice getaway for our anniversary, and look forward to time away from the to-dos of home and busyness of a life with young kids, and this was just what we needed! Darrin and Keith are so kind, friendly and exceptionally hospitable. The breakfast was out of this world, and the attention to detail was terrific. They listened to everything, were attentive to our needs and also gave us plenty of space. We will definitely be back, and will be telling everyone we know to book here and book DIRECT! "
