I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"The property’s location was excellent—right on the beach and about a 10-minute drive to Jaco. It had a charming old-world feel, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property is in serious need of renovation, with many things visibly falling apart. Some units lacked hot water, and while the service was polite, it was very slow and eventually got the job done. "Communication was grudging at best, there was no one there to receive us and no information folder. In consequence, we did not have the front door code or the lock box code to get the beach club cards until hours after we arrived and I had bullied the driver that picked us up at the airport into helping me. Bob was great! The property is amazing and we enjoyed it tremendously. The area has lots of restaurants and convenient shopping. Rent a golf cart, it made our lives so easy!"

"I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "
