"Absolutely nothing special about this place. 1. Staff were neither helpful or specially polite. Asked front desk to have the room cleaned they only emptied the garbage. 2. Restaurants were super slow and food quality and taste was less than average. 3. Pools are too crowded and understaffed. Overall I’m not recommendations staying at this property unless your sole reason is to use the parks."

"The room was clean although a little outdated. The in-wall air conditioner had only 2 speeds: low and high. No automatic. We ran the fan on low all night long and the noise was rather annoying and we (family of 4) couldn’t get a peaceful night’s sleep. The air conditioner did work and the room’s temperature was fine but one has to deal with the fan that won’t shut off. The hotel is very convenient to the park and for one night, it was perfect. "

"Checked in around 11:30 at night after we had been in the Cedar Point Park all day we were totally exhausted so didn’t bother to check the beds when my daughter woke up in the morning. Her arm was completely bitten from bedbugs also housekeeping banged on our door at 8:30 AM and asking if our room could be cleaned when checkout was 11 AM since we were off we decided to go to the pool and arrive back at the room around 10:30 to pack up our stuff to be checked out by 11 in housekeeping banged on...

"My room wasn't clean at all, and the person at the front desk she had a very nasty attitude. And they charged me twice."

"Our sink was stopped up and after letting them know it took nine hours to fix. It was a bit of a chaotic hotel with bags of laundry left in the hallways and lots of messes. Not a very special experience. Oh and the sink had two hot waters. No cold."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Brandon at the front desk was excellent, courteous, and made sure the one hiccup we had was corrected immediately. The beds were comfy and provided a good nights rest. Great location with easy walking access to many things. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here."

"There were stains upon stains on the blankets, pillows, mattress protector, etc. most of them being yellow, some being red, brown and other fun colors. We informed staff and she moved us to another room. The other room had significantly less stains, but still there. The rooms reeked of some sort of air freshener that was extremely overwhelming. "Beautiful hotel! Small problem with check-in that the staff handled well once brought up. Only Downside is the pool room air was "sauna like" which made it tough to sit and watch the kids. Had to sit by the entrance door with it open. 2 other parents joined us as they thought it was unbearable too."

"Our stay was relatively peaceful. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately some staff were just not friendly, and gave poor customer service. However, these were a few bad apples. For the most part everyone was really nice, and eager to listen and help. I would definitely stay here again."

"This place was beautiful. Lobby amazing, bar was nice, right next to the ballpark (go Guards), and easy access to public transit. Highly recommend. Great value too!"
