"I have no idea how In The Wind Hostel gets good ratings. Maybe mostly men stay here and avoid the brunt of it, but as a solo female traveler, this was hands down the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.  The owner’s behavior was unhinged. "Amazing property, well thought out comfy beds with fans / power / lights for each….. two different density pillows! There is a nice path to the river and comfy chairs to lounge in. Owners are super friendly and communication was easy. Parking lot is on the left side of the road about 100 feet before you reach the property on the right side of the road. "

"This place is CLOSED yet hotels.com keeps offering it online. I booked through hotels.com as part of my trip and when I got their and the hotel was no longer in operation, and it was a nightmare dealing with hotels.com. They are pushy and it is a mess. When I started demanding my money back, a pushy person who spoke broken English called to sell me ANOTHER hotel, but refused to give me my money back. I am realizing hotels.com is a racket."
