"Property was amazing! Wildlife was naturally maintained and cabins were in the midst. Well groomed plants. Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful. Cabins were very large and lovely. Cabins further away had internet connectivity problems but worked very well closer to front desk. "

"This is a charming resort. Please don’t expect five star luxury but the facilities are very nice and the team extremely friendly. They cater for larger groups but that was not a problem. The area has some wonderful walks and wildlife - although unfortunately we did not see any sloths. "

"We were looking for an “off-tourist” spot since we flew in from nyc and were driving up to La fortuna. This was an absolute gem. Plenty space for kids to run/play, hot springs, gorgeous river stream. We only had one morning, but would’ve easily stayed for a couple nights if we didn’t have our next stop scheduled! Totally recommend this place - be prepared as this is more like a high-end “glamping”. Plenty beds and sleeping accommodations. Very respectful and accommodating staff. "

"The hotel manager was amazing. I broke my phone while traveling and he was able to let me use his phone so I could get to my next destination. He was very attentive and gave me suggestions on things to do locally. My favorite part about the hotel was the pool. It has an amazing view and I was the only one at the pool! Highly recommend."

"Wonderful of the grid adventure! Like visiting family, the host is friendly and knowledgeable. You are right in the jungle with howler monkeys, colorful birds and lush vegetation. Rain on the tin roof at night made sleeping a tranquil experience."

"Suppose in some near death experience you received a glimpse of heaven. Do you think you would post the next day "5 stars, highly recommend" or would you spend some time trying to gather your thoughts and tell people just how wonderful it was? Well, maybe Los Gallitos & Eco Lodge is just short of heaven because I found myself praying to the Lord that He make my heaven similar to my experience there. The views are amazing and the sounds are sweet to your ears. A chorus of birds will sing you...

"We enjoyed the cabin; it was perfect for our needs. It might have been nice to have a chair in the cabin. But we were able to sit at the restaurant tables and use the wifi there. so all our needs were met! Thank you ! "

"It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. Nice tours in the jungle and fantastic personel. If you don’t expect a five star hotel, than you get a five star experience."

"Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful."
