Hotel Romantik di Candolim

"I cannot rate The Astor in Goa high enough. We used Goa as a stop gap for our India holiday and it was amazing. I had an upgrade and used the Spa and Gym as well as the pool which was welcoming after being in the sun. The staff were fab, very friendly and considerate, couldn't do enough, always helpful. Food was also delicious, Ishani looked after us throughout, always with a smile on her face. Thank you to everyone at The Astor, hopefully return soon."

"Straight out of pinterest!"

"Super friendly staff, my room was ready early so I could check in straight away. The staff will sort anything out for you. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Excellent value for money."

"There was no hospitality and effective concierge service. The kettle was in a rusted condition. The hotel had to benchmark other Fortune hotels in India to qualify their 4 star requirements and should match the service. Otherwise Overall I can suggest 2.5 star only."

"Clean and neat place in north Goa. Perfect for families with kids"

"The hotel was an excellent experience for me and my children, They loved the rooms , pool and the various meal options were great !!! . Thank you Shravan Kumar for your excellent service"

"So sound proof!! Excellent service. Thank you so much!"

"Extremely disappointed. The key card never worked so I had to go the reception every single time and ask them to send someone with a master key card. They replaced my key card 3 times but that didnt help. Meanwhile it was raining and the corridor ceilings were leaking. I found a dead cockroach in my bathroom. So overall...horrible."

"Staff was helpful with all my questions about the region."

"The room was ok. There were no utensils just 2 cups. The beach was close and clean. "

"A relaxing pool, easy access and friendly staff."

"2 minutes walk "

"Nice clean room, excellent breakfast and lovely friendly staff. Great location close to the beach."

"The staff and the general facilities and the room were great. Just two downsides. 1. During my stay they decided to drain the swimming pool and regrout and refill. We were told that this would take two days. My time at the hotel finished after 4 days and the pool was still not open. It would have been a good idea to do this maintenance work during the low season rather than with a hotel full of holidaymakers. 2. Strangely you were only allowed to use one device on the Wi-Fi. If you tried to...

"All good"

"I personally did not have a pleasant stay at this hotel. the room was not great as the ceiling fan was almost falling off the ceiling. it's definitely not what you see on the website. I decided to move hotels after the 2nd night and the hotel would not refund the rest of my money. I reached out to hotels.com and they were not able to assist. I'm hoping hotels.com would reconsider and provide a refund for the nights I didn't stay as I had to move to a better hotel and now paid for 2 hotels. I'm a...

"The location is good, can be noisy all night if your room is at the front of the hotel. Rooms are not soundproof so if you plan a lie in you may get the noise from the pool area. Cleanliness can Definetly be improved, property also needs maintenance rather than excuses for issues. Some of the front office staff were really good but otherwise the the staff and Restaraunt’s staff were quite poor."

"very well managed hotel. generally quiet relaxing atmosphere. optimal location close enough to main street with a multitude of restaurants and shops (5 minutes walk), but also directly adjacent to the beach with endless options of beach shacks. clean and well furnished rooms with comfortable bed and bedding. very friendly and helpful staff and excellent service. good breakfast buffet. wifi works well. overall a great experience! would return here anytime.
