"We were upgraded to a lovely room that was recently renovated. Very beautiful, airy and quite modern. Had a jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the gardens and the beach. Rest of the hotel is fairly dated. Nice location though right on the watee"

"This is a lovely, small hotel perched over the beach lined with fishermen’s boats coming and going. Pool area and lawn great. Very serene place, we stayed a week. We chose to enjoy all our meals in the restaurant on premise. Food was very good, Indonesian and western, very fresh and prepared well. Lovely staff; attentive and warm; very clean and well kept. Our room on the floor had a fantastic, wide ocean view! We loved our stay! Thank you Hotel Genggong for a wonderful stay! "

"One of my favourite hotels in the world. The location is perfect with mountains and jungle on one side and coral reef on the other. The rooms are nice and having breakfast overlooking the sea is very special. And the staff are all helpful and super friendly and attentive."

"Great stay, the only drawback was the trash in the ocean. It was not every day the same, depending on waves and current, but that was to be expected in Bali. There was a fisherman sitting the whole day in front of the beach, doing nothing and trying to sell snorkeling trips. They should have paid him some money to cleanup daily. We've heared they do weekly cleanup tours, but that's just not enough. Anyway, everything else was just great :)"

"Puri Bagus is a beautiful small resort with wonderful staff and views! The small beach area is not clean, like most beaches in Bali. The property directly in front of the resort is kept clean and maintained. The pool is perfectly positioned to provide great views. The pool and the area around the pool are kept clean and lovely. The flowers and plants on the property are beautiful. The spa is wonderful! 2 massages in a week at the spa....perfection! The town of Candidasa is small,...

"Amarta beach cottages is the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The staff were most welcoming and helpful. The breakfast which was included is really good and the on-site restaurant serves great food at any time of day. My cottage was a bit old but was very comfortable and clean and had air conditioning. It was worth staying here just for the beautiful sunsets and sea views:)"

"The highlight of this property is the staff and the location. Beautiful gardens, sea front pool and bungalows. Note: there is no beach at this property. But you are right in front of the sea. The property has been fully refurbished less than a year ago so everything looks good. The decor is lovely, amazing gardens. The staff is extremely accommodating, welcoming and just lovely to deal with. We stayed at the Ocean view bungalows - incredible! You wake up with the sound of waves and birds. Just...
