It is convenient being right near shopping mall, restaurants and buses so great for getting about. A couple of criticisms around the welcome and cleaning. We arrived and the Expedia reservation hadn't sent my email address, just an Expedia one so they had no idea I was a member. This in itself didn't cause a problem BUT they lady behind the counter had to remind me that "you didn't book direct anyway so there are no benefits." Come on, I know that, but the fact remains I did still remain Loyal and book in an Accor Hotel, so maybe don't be so dismissive. With cleaning, we did put the Do Not Disturb on the door early but then took it off. Seems they don't check twice so the room remained uncleaned but more to the point no restock of tea and coffee. Two things with the room, the safe is in the cupboard, at the bottom and requires you to get right down on your hands and knees to get to it, God help you if something goes to the back because your hand might end up in Narnia. And second...no draws, not one. All in All, nice but will probably stay somewhere else next visit.

Dropping bags off and parking at the Canberra Central Shopping Centre was 700m away. While it was only $10 for the night that was somewhat inconvenient. Make sure you allow plenty of time for this.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Room was clean. Location very convenient. Only glitch was the keycard sensor to our room door had malfunction the morning we went out for breakfast and returned to check out to make it for 11am coach ride to Sydney. Counter receptionist was very helpful and understanding about our time constraint to get in the room to get our luggages for check out. She managed to quickly get the gadget to help unlock & open our room door. Appreciate her responsiveness and helpfulness which made our stay all good.

The property is literally a 'what you see is what you get'. I loved it! I book 3 rooms for different guest and they all complimented the place. The only hiccup is the parking but they provide you with details on where you can park around the facility. I still don't understand why this isn't a 5 star hotel actually...

The only thing that I found disappointing was the Sebel does not have it's own car park, and recommended parking is in the local shopping centre
