Canbhol is well positioned in terms of bus access for those without a car, with the closest bus stop only about 400m away. Uber drivers were very prompt when needed. My room was well appointed (except for no cutlery, a puzzle, but as I wasn't cooking that didn't matter), it was clean, the bed was comfortable and everything I needed worked, especially the split system aircon to ward off Canberra's cold temperatures. I had received an email in which an offer was made to buy anything I might need for breakfast. I answered via email but was disappointed that their offer came to nothing. The 7Eleven opposite the bus stop saved the day for something small each morning and I made up for the lack of a real breakfast by arriving at my various tourist destinations with plenty of time on hand to have a satisfying brunch. I went out most nights for dinner and the location was quite handy to Kingston restaurants, taking the bus there and Uber back. The manager on the day I checked out was very helpful in allowing me to leave my case in the room while I went off for my last tourist destination. This was important as my flight out of Canberra wasn't until 5 p.m.
