"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. "The hotel is located at a 3min walk from Playa Hermosa. The property is really well maintained and has all amenities. We booked the Jr. suite which was clean and kitchen fully stocked with appliances like a full size fridge, toaster, microwave, induction and a coffee maker. They also had cutlery stocked up in the cabinets which made it easier to use. The only hiccup we faced was the WiFi that didn't seem to work when we arrived in our first room but the staff was helpful and changed our room on request. The breakfast was filling and really tasty, as well as the service was really attentive. Thank you for a great stay experience. If you're planning to stay in Costa Rica for a long time, choose this hotel as it'll be easier for you to navigate. Thank you for the staff the check-in and check-out went smoothly."
