"After my girlfriend could not come on the vacation due to appendicitis, I decided to travel to Alora solo. The region is just stunning and David and Wendy were extremely accommodating and made me feel right at home . I have never woken up to such a stunning view. "Finca Viva La Vida is a little gem in the hills of Alora. The property is beautiful. The rooms are tastefully designed, excellent water pressure with very hot water (if you like) and a comfortable bed! The pool area is nice and relaxing and positioned to receive sun most of the day - a great place to relax after a hike. "This was a lovely hotel and would rate it higher than a 2 star. It was spotlessly clean, open and airy. Good air conditioning. Nice gardens and pool. Felt very homely and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and good choices. With fresh fruit, pancakes bread and meats. Plenty of parking at the property and just around the corner. Was very safe. Staff were great, friendly, hard working and would help with where to dine and activities. Nothing too much bother. Train station very close, giving easy access to surrounding towns and cities. You could walk into Alora but it was very up hill. Or short drive."

Apartamentos Antequera

"We absolutely loved our stay here! Our room felt brand new—modern, updated, and beautifully designed. The blackout shades made it perfect for sleeping, and being on the top (5th) floor was a bonus. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the Alcazaba, with a small store nearby for essentials. The front desk person, Sandra, was incredibly friendly and helpful. We appreciated the little touches, like a vending machine with drinks for late arrivals and a well-equipped kitchen (though we did wish there was coffee provided). The highlight of the property is definitely the rooftop terrace—the views over Antequera are stunning, and we loved enjoying a drink at sunset. Parking (10 euro extra) was also very easy and felt secure. Overall, this was one of our favorite stays in Spain, and we would absolutely return. Antequera is a hidden gem, and this hotel made our visit even better!"
