The best B&B Ever!

This is the very best B&B we have ever stayed in. The location is beautiful, the room clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was uniquely French, and the hosts were off the charts friendly. And, the price was more than reasonable. We plan on returning next year.

A short visit to rural Normandy

Our hosts were so kind and suggested local places and typical French restaurants close to the hotel - the hotel has character with beautiful views from the top of a hill overlooking farm land. Very quiet and peaceful

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. They helped schedule visits and tours. They had knowledge over the area and Route de Cidre. The view here is amazing. Highly recommend staying here if you can.

Amazing setting, comfortable and clean

Lovely b and b in an amazing setting. Neat and tidy, great views, parking lot and friendly owners. You start.to relax as soon as you arrive. Only light criticism is that breakfast is served quite late @8.45 and ends at 10.00, so for early birds looking to get a full day its not ideal.

Lovely Place

Lovely place, quiet and very enjoyable. There is a huge property to explore. Breakfast is delicious with several tasty and traditional Normandy products. WiFi is kind of weak though but it might be seen as a bonus to appreciate nature and the tranquillity of the mansion.

Jättetrevlig föreståndarinna som hjälpte oss med bordsreservation till restaurang när vi kom fram måndag kväll. Trevligt boende i fina omgivningar med flera hästhagar runt huset. Frukosten var god. Några kilometer från kommunens större orter Cambremer och Beuvron en Auge, bil är en förutsättning.

This is a lovely place for a quiet break in glorious countryside (we had fantastic autumn weather too) with a lovely host and hostess. Great breakfasts and very pretty room with comfy bed. Super stay. Thank you very much.

Great place to stay

The room was nice: very clean, new bathroom with a deep tub (great if you like a relaxing bath), and nicely furnished. Best of all it was dark and quiet and there was a skylight above the bed and we could see the stars. The bed was a bit smaller than we're used to but it was fine. Breakfast was lovely and Christine was a kind and very helpful host. The one thing that was a bit challenging was the internet, which sometimes worked in the room, but sometimes not. We were supposed to be on vacation, though, so those late night emails had to wait, and it always worked in the breakfast room. We would stay here again.

This is a lovely low key comfortable country house with no pretenses. It is a wonderful place to stay and relax. The view of the Normandy countryside on the back porch is breathtaking. The hostess was so friendly and helpful. The town of Cambremer has loads of charm and a great restaurant, Le Petit Normande.

Wonderful

We cannot compliment the accommodations enough. The room was immaculate, the service impeccable, the breakfast made us not want to sleep in anticipation. The tranquil setting in the countryside made us not want to leave, but alas we had to. The gite is operated like a four star hotel, daily attention to making beds, towels changed, daily attendance to linen, towels, and bathroom. The breakfast is a complete buffet of daily homemade apple tart, homemade yogurt, local cheese, selection of homemade regional preserves, fresh eggs from the free range chickens on the grounds, and homemade apple juice from the properties orchard. The proprietress serves as a knowledgeable concierge.

Great countryside stop!

Stayed here between a trip to the beaches and our return to Paris, a wonderful B&B in the Normandy countryside. Excellent friendly hosts in a serene location with great views (can see the ferries to England from 20km or so away). Near several charming small villages that have some small shops, one an hour walk down country roads, along the apple cider route (route du cidre). Delicious food, including a very reasonable supper extra, one of the best meals I had in France. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Un beau sejour depaysant et calme

Au domaine des marronniers on a retrouve le calme et la nature loin des tracas de la ville. Accueil chaleureux avec des conseils de restaurants de lieux a visiter. La chambre Cabourg etait tres cosy. Nous reviendrons.

Perfect overnight tranquil stopover

Beautiful location and very friendly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was excellent especially the homemade apple juice and yoghurt.
