"It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again."

The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of a busy street but our room was extremely well insulated from the commotion below. Air conditioning works great. Washer + dryer combo is very convenient. "I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

"Great location very close to the cathedral. Comfortable and had all the cooking equipment we could need. Great shower. The air con was a bit fiddly to use but worked well. Some downsides: there was a washing machine but no detergent, it is listed as having a tumble drier but it does not (only an ineffective drying setting on the washing machine), there were only three clothes hangers, and the pillows were very small and flat."
