"Lovely little and quiet village, the hotel is located just by the main square. Very nice staff, rooms were cleaned daily. Good view from the room. For the price you pay I'd say the room was very bland. Also the breakfast wasn't too good."

"Beautiful view from the roof terrace and a great host. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Accessibility for those who are mobility restricted is more difficult so keep that in mind. Calheita is a nice village with good restaurants. Easy access by car to all hiking areas"

When we visited access to the marina was limited and unfortunately all the shops and restaurants were closed. Fortunately the restaurants at the hotel where we were staying at were great. As we were out for most of the days we had lunch out.
