We did have dinner in the hotel one night which was quite good but if you are looking for ambiance, it's not at this hotel. The location worked out perfectly with easy access to the National Park which was our primary desire. I'd stay again but simply be ok with a "hotel" vs. any type of BnB."

"Excellent stay only 20 mins drive from the historic town of Guimaraes. We had a beautiful double room with a fantasic view down into the valley. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast includes fresh orange juice from the orange trees in the garden. Claudino is very generous with his time and knowledge. "

"Lovely, quirky property. Great food and service. Spa was wonderful. Rooms a bit small but very comfortable. Pictures of bathtubs are limited to some Rooms so disappoint to have a view or tub. Outdoor cocktail area was charming as was the decoration. Great place overall. "
