"Das Hotel verfügt über sehr tolle, grosszügige Zimmer. Wir hatten ein riesiges Wohnzimmer und 2 Schlafzimmer. Perfekt für den Urlaub mit der Familie. Der innen und aussen Pool war toll für die Kinder. Aber auch für die Erwachsenen. Das Frühstück war nicht schlecht. Die Haferflocken haben gefehlt am Buffet aber auf Anfrage habe ich sie dann bekommen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wieder kommen. "

"The USP of this property is the amazing view down to Lago di Lugano across into Switzerland. There is also the interesting story about the old funicular railway to the rear of the hotel which closed in 1977 but may be refurbished and reinstated if funds can be secured. It is a rural location, about 20 mins walk from the nearby town of Lanzo d'Intelvi and the bus service from Como drops you about 400m from the hotel reception if you aren't driving. "Excellent location! When you arrive at the train station, take the funicular down and as soon as you get off turn right- the hotel is in that back corner beside cafe Milano. Rooms were recently renovated, great breakfast, and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. "
