"Super lovely property in a quiet small town with fabulous owners! They were so helpful & kind. The beds were the best & the pillows were awesome! Lots of room too! Their homemade breakfast bread & jam, granola, yogurt were the best! All before the main breakfast cooked to order! Highly recommend!"
"Amazing experience. Staff was so nice, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing. Hotel is very nice, cozy and quiet. Great location. The town is very small, but this is the perfect location to walk between pubs and restaurants."
"Receptionist was friendly and we felt very welcomed. Room was spacious for 3 of us, King bed & single bed in a room, shower was powerful and clean.
Breakfast was simple, would have loved little more variety of vegetables but overall it was good for value. Handy location to use if you are driving in/out if Galway and still want to experience Galway city. It's 20 mins of walk with pavement all the way."
"The check in counter staff are great and accommodating. The room though is nasty. Carpet stains, ceiling looks like it’s been patched 4 separate ways due to leaks, the walls are stained. I have photos to share. The place is used up. Location is good and that’s probably why people stay there. "
"Would have given 5 stars across the board but there was a scaffold right outside our window, despite requesting an ocean view. It isn't really walkable to much, but the onsite restaurant was very good and the view was amazing. There's also a quaint pub contained within the hotel, with an awesome Irish performer the night we were there."
"We asked for a double. It was advertised that it was 279 sq ft. The room we are in is not even close to 279 sq ft. We are being charged $400 per night for a room that is not as advertised. Lots of other issues, like a shower that will flood the bathroom if you don’t block the water with your body at all times. We only see windows from the other rooms 40’ away that look directly into ours even tho our room was advertised as having a city view. Also advertised as having an in room safe-we didn’t have a safe and had to put our valuables in the hotel safe. A shelf jets out on one side of the bed blocking access so you have to crawl across the bed to get into bed (the wall is about 12” from the bed on both sides. No place to put two suitcases except precariously on the desk.
I was told we could not get rebated for not getting the room we were supposed to get, nor moved as you were sold out. They obviously cater to groups because each front desk employee asked if we were with a group and then commiserated with us because we weren’t and, therefore, would not be helped. Also whispered to us that we were unfortunately in room 128. Every employee stated the room sizes are bad. Will never stay in a Dean again. They misrepresent their rooms and charge ridiculously for what you get."
