A great place for a family holiday with a cafe right below and the patrolled beach right across the road. Nice two bedroom apartment with a laundry for some washing too.

This property is situated above a restaurant not a cafe as shown on the promo photo which is not up to date either by accident or design. This restaurant has two exhaust fans, a newer one on the side of the building and a older one mounted on the rear of the building and this one is faulty. The noise reverberates throughout the building especially the property. The host knows about this but there was no mention beforehand and the noise is intolerable especially in the bedrooms. The fan is off at 20:45 but back on at 7:15. We stayed one night instead of the four nights we had booked as we could not put up with the noise and reverberation any more. I would think twice before booking here.

Hi Paul , I have run this business for over 20 years and no one has ever left because of the cafe/restaurant below , also only one of the shops exhausts has a fan ,the same one for over 20 years. I am sorry if you were so sensitive to any noise especially as Yorkeys beachfront is generally accepted as being very quiet excepting for Curlews , Cockatoos and Kookaburras. Re. Malcolm.

The property is in a great location, immediately opposite the beach and flagged area. Yorkeys maybe not as upmarket as Palm Cove, but it is close to Smithfield, a good golf club, and the Fishing Club. The hosts were really great and make you feel at home.. The apartment was clean and fitted with all the amenities required for a great family holiday. Will return..

Helped us out when we were in a jam
We found ourselves without a booking the night before flying out. Warren fit us in despite the inconvenience, a true gentleman. Great location too!

Absolutely loved the position. Very quiet area straight across the road from the beach.The apartment had everything we needed and was only a 15 minute drive into cairns.
