"Beds comfy and King sized vs. Queen sized at hotel next door. Breakfast was great and Raul the breakfast attendant was so helpful and kind. The pool seemed nice and the office staff great. I didn’t find it noisy except for someone’s little dog barking for a bit. I am currently staying at the hotel next door and would choose Holiday Inn over the slightly more expensive hotel next door. "

"Only 30 min from the airport, up in the coffee covered hills above the very vibrant Alajuela neighborhood, is the best, not too expensive hotel in San Jose. Wonderful staff, beautiful grounds and gardens, nice food and a very relaxing setting. We really enjoy spending our last night, after puddle jumping and before getting on that big old jet liner, just decompressing in affordable luxury. Go there, you'll be glad you did."

"I only stayed here one night but it was a great experience. I had to check in very late due to my flight. The staff was very attentive to me and always kept in touch with me while I was in my way for my check in. It seems like a wonderful family business and I can tell they truly care about their hotel. I was so grateful for the beautiful view when I had breakfast. The breakfast was there waiting for me at the time I requested! They even reminded me. I could tell it was homemade authentic food. Thank you so much for making me feel right at home since this was my very first time coming to Costa Rica. I cannot wait to return!!"
