"First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. "It’s a beautiful property. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa was very good. They do not provide much in the way of toiletries. They charge for using a bicycle. I have eaten dinner in the main dining room and the meal was excellent. Hiwever, I was unable to get into the dining room this time and dined at the bar, outside. We both ordered a steak and potato meal that followed a simple and delicious salad. Unfortunately, we both found our two a steaks, cooked à point ( medium rare) tough, gristly, and almost inedible. We each left two thirds of the beef uneaten. Such a disappointment."

"We were over the moon by our bed!!! The staff was very helpful & hospitable. Great shower. The ONLY reason I wouldn’t rank this hotel as 101 out of 100 is because we didn’t have a coffee maker in the room. I’m an introvert (a writer) —I prefer to make my own coffee as I want silence in the morning. Everything else was exceptional!!!"
