Our room, although large, was really bare -- white walls, no art, and hard surfaces. We went to the pool for drinks and lunch and the service was downright awful due to seemingly inexperienced staff. The breakfast buffet was good. "

Also - not for the quiet traveller. Even though they have "quiet hours from 0-8, they don't mention the nighly shows by the central pool that run from 21:30 to 00:00 and reverberate through THE ENTIRE CAMPGROUND. "Incredible stay. The rooms here are amazing. They have so much character yet are surprisingly modern with key card, great lighting and charging points. The bed and bedding is super comfortable and the old walls have good soundproofing. The room I had was so spacious and was cleaned daily. Service was perfect and the restaurant is incredible. Thank you to the kind staff who made our stay wonderful. "
