"Great hotel with great staff. Stayed at 5 hotels while in Ireland and this was the best. Not much to look at from the outside but very nice on the inside. Meals were very good and all staff were friendly and helpful. Loved this place!"

"The meeting rooms are excellent, but having to pay for a room before you use it and will need coffees and or food throughout the day seems unreasonable to me. But room keys would not be handed over until the room was fully paid in advance, and then any refreshments throughout the day had to be paid for individually. I have been using meeting rooms throughout the 32 counties for over 25 years and have not been met with the attitude at the front desk on arrival. Disappointing, as the rooms and location are excellent"

"My room, as usual was excellent. Being a regular visitor of several times a year, Iโve always found my โhome from homeโ at Doolys hotel. The staff couldnโt be nicer, friendlier or more attentive. They take excellent care of me each time Iโm there. From arrival, receptionist is Niamh, Ciara or Marisa, to the bar, restaurant and night porter Gerry. Honestly, every single one of them treat me like Iโve known them all my life. I couldnโt rate them any better. See you all in 6 wks. Marguerite"

"We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful castle hotel. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the staff was so kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also extremely nice with a hot option (like pancakes/sausage) included. Only complaint is that there needs to be some pest control inside, as there were spiders in every corner of the ceiling as well as one running around by my toilet. The grounds were incredible and we wished we had more time to stay and hike around them as others seemed to know to plan. We hope to be back!"
