"Air conditioning is really good, pool is good. Food at restaurant was good as well. Older property but they do their best to keep it clean and they have 24-7 security, and you have other eating options down the street but some location are closed on Sunday. It’s a very local town."
"Le ventilateur au plafond ne fonctionnait pas , pas de frigo dans la chambre, donc il fallait à chaque fois demander à La réception de me remplir ma bouteille d’eau froide ou chaude . La plage directement devant l’hôtel c’est playa Brasilito sable gris/noir . La belle plage qu’on voit dans l’annonce sur Expédia c’est la plage À CÔTÉ ( playa Conchal) où tout le monde va"
"We had a great stay at the W. It was a beautiful resort with helpful staff. There was some wear and tear on furniture in the room but didn’t impact the stay. It was definitely pricey but paying for the brand. Only thing I wish was that for families traveling the adult only pool is beautiful and we will there were some hours that kids could enjoy the space as well."
"Just wow - So much to say about this property! My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks. The view overlooking the marina is GORGEOUS and worth it for breakfast on the balcony every morning! Playa Flamingo is a short 5-10 min walk away and that beach is one of the nicest in Costa Rica! When we arrived, Carlos greeted us and drove us to get groceries to stock up the fridge. He was so welcoming and so kind! Gustavo was also invaluable during our stay; always offering a recommendation or a friendly smile! The room itself was perfect. The bed was so comfy, the AC was a godsend and everything was clean and neat. Staying in the marina is super convenient! There are multiple restaurants to choose from as well as a plaza across the street for other dining options. We did not need to rent a car for being in this area. We rented a golf cart and that allowed us to explore Flamingo, Potrero and drive all the way to Brasilito (to park and walk to Playa Conchal). The area of Playa Flamingo is very quiet with little to no nightlife. We loved it for this aspect but understand it could be “too quiet” for others.
Gustavo and Carlos: Thank you for making our holiday extraordinary. We will surely be back!"
The Westin Reserva Conchal, an All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Deluxe junior suite was beautiful! Adults really should stick with Westin Club pool. Best food was at Faisinella. Bamboo Asian was really bad. Caracola has most diverse menu and pretty good. Bathrooms in restaurant area were shameful. Sunset at beach incredible, but local vendors can be annoying. Overall still a great resort!"
"Overall, my stay at Casa del de Toro in Playa Flamingo was enjoyable. It was nice to be away but not to far away from things to do. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and overall very helpful. The room was clean and the AC kept the temperature at a reasonable level. "
