"When I accidentally booked a stay with the inn for the wrong night through a third party. They canceled my nonrefundable stay and rebooked me for the night that I intended. These people believe in customer service and have such a lovely place and made to order breakfast. When going through Mount Vernon again, I will definitely stay with them. Great for cyclists."

"Arguably one of the loudest Hotels I have ever stayed in. Maybe it was the room location, since I was on the first floor down a bit from the lobby. It wasn't particularly the people staying in the hotel that were loud, just normal everyday actions were loud. (Someone clearing their throat, coughing, regular conversation or normal T.V. volume, etc.) Even in my room, the doors that that would connect two rooms together, you could see light coming from the next room through it. I travel a lot for work so to write a review like this is not in my character."

"Do not book this hotel and pay for it in advance because they will make you pay twice when you get there because they say they don’t get their money for over 30 days so you have to pay when you get there and then file a complaint with Hotels.com it’s definitely a scam they’re running"

"The staff was very attentive, we used the pool and enjoyed it very much. Not too warm but very comfortable. Our room was very clean and the shower was perfect! Just enough water pressure. We enjoyed the breakfast, food was kept warm and the woman working the kitchen was very pleasant. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area. "

"The room was clean and adequate for what we paid. The staff on registration was a concern. She seemed to struggle getting us checked in. Once to our room, the door wouldn’t open because the inside latch was “caught.” While trying to get it open, we realized there was someone in the room that we were trying to enter. We addressed it with the staff at the desk, who kept saying she couldn’t understand why “they” would have put two of us in that room. The next morning at breakfast, she admitted it was her mistake the whole time. This is a major concern. We glad he was calm and not fearful or angry at our trying to get in."

"We had an amazing stay at Landoll’s Castle. It’s a beautiful property and the staff was very attentive, helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Some of the furniture in our suite was worn or broken, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. We can’t wait to go back!"
