"If you are looking for the jungle experience than this is the place for you. We were greeted by the local troop of Howler monkeys on arrival. Beautiful house right on the river. Locals had been seeing Manitee in the river near the house. Kenny and Shanna were great. We are already planning a return trip. "

"We had a quick stay for an early flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful with whatever we needed and kindly offered to prepare breakfast for us in the morning. I wouldn’t stay at this property again in the future though due to a few uncomforts. Their dogs barked during the night, waking us up. There was a bright light next door that illuminated our room. "Cathy and Don were great hosts! The rooms were clean and Cathy even cooked dinner for the 7 of us after we arrived at 5:30 pm. There are restaurants within a 15-30 minute walk, but it was nice to sit down for a while after enjoying a type “A” vacation for the past 8 days! Pool, air conditioning, hot water and a delicious meal! Julia "

"The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. "

"The room was clean, air conditioning was cold and staff was great. It was a little hard to locate as it does not have a traditional lobby. The lobby is on the 2nd floor inside the Call center and casino tower. The lobby closes at a certain time and a number to call is posted, althought the staff is responsive."

"This condo feels like home. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen has the necessities. The condo is gated in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly maintained. The outdoor deck is set up for dining and sunning with table, bar, and lounge chairs. The mango tree adjacent to the deck area is heavy with fruit, but it is still to early to enjoy. The condo’s host is responsive and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better home away from home!"

"Very peaceful place to stay with nice restaurant on the grounds. Gated access added to security. Able to walk along the water front and to a few different eateries. Only a seven minute, easy walk to the water taxis. We caught our bus to Guatemala near the water taxis. Wish we had saved some time to catch the water taxis to a one or more of the excursions offered."

"I had such a wonderful stay and experience at this cozy little place. It was close to the water taxi, small street vendors and great restaurants. Debra and staff went above and beyond.
