The place was not very clean. The sheet cover had a blood spot. I didn’t feel comfortable to sleep in. The room had a strong smoke whiff. The staff was nice.
What impressed me was how quiet it was for sleeping. I remember the hotel from fifty years ago. The place needs major renovations, a total makeover, however, despite its lack of modernization the room offered a comfortable bed, frig and microwave. It’s a bit overpriced given the work that is required.
The hotel’s location was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, considering the price, I expected much better quality and facilities.
The bathroom was in very poor condition and felt filthy and unhygienic. To make matters worse, someone was smoking right outside our room door, which was very unpleasant.
Additionally, despite being advertised, there was no common room or dining area available.
Overall, while the location and staff were nice, the cleanliness, facilities, and overall experience were disappointing. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The check-in process was smooth, and the amenities—fridge, microwave, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning—were excellent. However, upon opening the door, we were hit by a very strong, unpleasant odor, forcing us to open the windows for ventilation.CAD$!! 129 ,It’s not worth it.
Don't believe the photos online. The phots depict a nice place when in reality this hotel has not been maintained for at least 20+ years. The place is beat up, ripped carpets, mold in the bathroom, etc. etc. The bed was a king but only two small pillows came with the room and there were no others available in the whole hotel due to it being fully booked. The list is endless. We stayed in Room #209. On the good side the Staff was excellent.
In process of renovations, but room was clean with new beds and carpets. Outside is terrible. No coffee or water provided.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Burlington in general is a pretty safe place. The picture of the hotel is not the most realistic. Hotel looks regular in pics but in reality is trashy, room smelled like a second hand store and we found stains in the bedding and hair on the tub and dirty qtips on the trash can. Not staying there never again
Place was run down, things where not replaced. Said there was a pool, but couldn't go it was closed. Bathroom too small. Not worth the price. A/c was dirty and not clean. No breakfast offered
We picked this hotel because their was a pool and continental breakfast. However after arriving we found out the pool has been closed for 5 years. There was no breakfast or even coffee makers in the room.
Staff were very helpful and offered to allow us to cancel our reservation. However after 40 minutes of trying to get a refund through Expedia we gave up and stayed there.
Rooms were fine, they look like their in the middle of updating accommodations.
The room was updated and clean, and if I didn't know what the exterior of the property looked like, I would swear I was staying in a nice hotel. Although the room was nice, the bathroom needs a serious upgrading. Also the room had no coffee, tissue box and and decent shampoo. I know they are painting the exterior, but it needs much more then a coat of paint. The exterior is in poor condition and painting it is the equivalent to putting lipstick on a pig. It needs a new roof, new parking lot, a full renovation of the reception area and much more. Also, there were 2 cars without license plates that were obviously abandoned in the parking lot. One of these vehicles had a broken window and was full of garbage. Not a good optic. When I drove up on the property, I wasn't sure it was the same property as I saw in the ad. The ad shows a beautiful place. I felt I was misled and didnt know what I had got myself into. I didn't know if I would be able to stay the 3 nights we booked. The good news is we did stay the 3 nights and found the bed comfortable and the property very quiet. The surrounding area has all you could possibly want. Restaurants, shopping and gas stations. It was a short drive to downtown and the lakefront. I truly hope they can resurrect this property. Start with towing away the 2 abandoned cars and clean up the reception.
