Fabulous stay!
The stay was lovely. The accommodation clean and comfortable. The owners were lovely and friendly and very helpful. They advised on places to eat and also allowed a later checkout as we were tired from a very busy previous day.

Overall good experience. Check in quick and easy, friendly reception. Spacious room. Close to shops and restaurants. Being on the main road through Bundaberg it was a little noisy during the peak hours but does quiet down during the night.

The bathroom drains, shower and basin really smelt bad. I had to close the door. The aircon didnt work to heat the room and aircon filters were very dusty. No blankets on the bed just a spare in the cupboard, it was freezing.

Thank you for your feedback Christine and your comments have been noted and passed onto Management. Upon checking the room and bathroom in the morning the cleaners saw or smelt nothing unusual. Our rooms are cleaned daily and we use commercial sanitizers and products. Some guests may be sensitive to these products which we understand. Air-conditioner was set to fan not heat. Instructions are on the wall in each rooms to operate air conditioners. Blankets are provided according to the number of beds in the room. If Management was notified on the day that there was an issue we would have been happy to re-set air-conditioner, provide additional blankets or move you to another room. Once again thank you for your feedback we appreciate you letting us know.

We only needed a place for one night as we were driving through the town heading south. For a motel, it was good, clean and mostly comfortable. Basic amenities such as coffee etc (pool and laundry seemed available). Only negative would be the notice saying we could be charged for the use of additional towel/bed if we were assigned a larger than booked room. That's unfortunate because the cost of that extra towel (should we have decided to use it) would be far less than the negative impression it gave us. I'd suggest the owner consider removing that sign. If you give someone a room, they have the whole room. Aside from that, the room was clean, simple and served its purpose. Nicer decor than I'd seen is some of the motels we've stopped at.

Refused to give me a hard-copy Invoice for my stay; said they can't because the booking was made through Wxpedia (Wotif), and they can't issue a receipt for money they haven't yet got. I need a Receipt/Invoice to get a reimbursement payment !!! I have never struck this before. They don't seem to like Wotif because Wotif price is less than Bookings.com. The room was tidy and clean, bit mean with sugar (7 teaspoon sachets for a three-person room). Would like to have seen a grab-rail in the shower. PS... Can you organise to eMail me the Invoice please ?
