"I first stayed here 20 years ago when this hotel was Le Meridien. I was in Pune with my daughters whilst my husband was out of town so decided to have a trip down memory lane with them. The hotel is as lovely and grand as ever, the rooms are comfortable with the Indian service you expect from a 5 star. Food on room service, main restaurant and the Chinese restaurant was delicious. Helpful concierge and front of house staff if you need assistance with Uber etc. Lobby area is just gorgeous to sit in and the pool terrace perfect to escape the heat. Well equipped gym and recreation centre which the kids loved (includes air hockey, table tennis etc). "

"Room and bathroom size is big enough for 2 people Good sunlight Staff are mostly young trainees so there is a lack of proficiency and efficiency. Cleanliness is fine but they didn’t clean under the bed and I found trash from the previous guest lying underneath. Excellent breakfast! Good variety and good quality food at a nominal price "

Overall a great experience but this could be improved. Luxury hotel stays aren’t the same as they were back in the nineties or early 2000. Maybe it’s just me but this is what I felt. "

"There were very few shops in a dirty, busy streets, lots of constructions which made it impossible for pedestrians to walk. The hotel is unkept. Dirty, negligent from the housekeeper to clean the stairs and the place I had breakfast. The breakfast was disgusting and only 2-3 options of meals which were very spicy and salty, "
