I traveled for 10 days across Uzbekistan, staying at different properties in Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, and Safia Plaza Hotel Bukhara was by far the best — especially considering the very reasonable price.
The hotel is newly built, with beautiful rooms, excellent furniture, and an amazing bathroom. Everything you need is provided in the room, and the quality is noticeably high. The full breakfast is excellent, including cooked-to-order omelets and a great variety of fresh fruits.
The location is also very convenient — just a 15–20 minute walk to Bukhara’s Old Town and all the main attractions.
What really makes this hotel special is the personal attention from the owner, who goes the extra step and makes every effort to ensure everything is right and guests are happy. That level of care makes a real difference.
Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Bukhara!
We had an excellent experience at Safia Hotel. The hotel was brand new, and we were actually the first guests to stay in our room. Everything was completely new, unused, spotless, and very clean.
What made our stay especially memorable was the service. The staff were incredibly welcoming and caring. It honestly felt less like staying at a hotel and more like being a guest in a family home. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
The breakfast every morning was outstanding fresh, high-quality food, including products from local farms. It was one of the highlights of our stay.
The combination of a beautiful new hotel, exceptional cleanliness, wonderful breakfast, and genuine hospitality made our stay in Bukhara very special.
Definitely a 5-star experience. Highly recommended!

The staff were amazing and went so far beyond what you could expect. When the trains to Tashkent were full, the staff called a contact they had at the station to get me a special ticket for the next day!. The rooms were spotless and the location is only a simple taxi ride to the old town (2 mins). The breakfast was very healthy and too much food for me! I would recommend the hotel to anyone and would definitely stay again.
