"Wonderful staff in this historic building, couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Hotel has some nice architectural features, room was well insulated for noise, centrally located for easy uber access or 20-40 minute walks. Highly recommended and top value. We paid $480 for 3 nights king room. Very happy."

"Quite simply, the best hotel for the money in downtown Buenos Aires. It is simple and clean, incredible breakfasts, quiet, roomy, friendly, and located in the heart of shopping and restraurants. We made the mistake of visiting Uruguay for a few days and came back to town to another hotel, and regretted it immediately. Great job to the owners and staff of the Principado!"

"Our room was very clean and we enjoyed it for our stay. Although it was smaller than we expected but the bathroom was a good size with a decent shower. We liked the view from the room straight up the road towards the Obelisco (not direct sightline). The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Our only disappointment was with the food. Our room service was not great and arrived barely hot. Breakfast was also hit and miss. The system was never explained to us - we did not know until the last day we could order eggs or omelettes. The breakfast buffer was also hit and miss with what was there. It seemed it wasn't always filled up regularly so if it was gone, it was gone. This was consistent during our stay. In summary, good hotel in a great location but could do with improving breakfast and room service. "
