The property was spacious, colourful and conveniently located in the heart of Budapest. Communication was excellent. The bed wasn’t overly comfortable, but apart from this, we had a wonderful stay here. Thank you.

We had a brilliant couples stay with Amber Studios. Nice little kitchen area with generous bathroom and living space. Was within walking distance of everything we needed and staff were super friendly and helpful. Great week away.

lovely apartment with everything clean however the duvet and pillow had seen better days and were not very comfy, Receptionist couldnt do enough for you and possibly a small welcome pack would have made been better. Lovely location and very quite my only complaint was the bedding.

Quiet apartment and nice staff. Near both Rudas and Gellert spa. Many different type of dinning options to choose from. Short walk to surpermarket and metro stations. I feel safe in the apartment as a solo female traveler and very happy with my stay. Would come back to stay whenever I visit Budapest

Scammed by massive emails and sms regarding check-in instructions. Check-in process took 15 minutes while taking photos of ID's with mobile and while the lady in the front desk was sitting and we are standing like in a police station. Though we booked room for 3 persons, they made us pay extra charge for third person under excuse that we mentioned 2 guests. I advise them to change the cleaning detergent of the rooms as might be allergic for some people due to strong smell.

You paid for 2 guests and refused to pay for the third guest, only after we strongly emphasized that you must pay, you finally paid. Your are banned on our property for further reservations we have reported this misconduct to Expedia. You originally paid EUR 36 for one night for 2 guests. Guests like you are not welcomed here !

Easy to gain access. Comfortable & spacious room. Apartment building well lit, lovely courtyard separating buildings. Very quiet, posh neighbourhood. Short walk to end of street either way gets you to river, buses, trains,trams. Lovely pedestrian only streets & squares surround apartment.

Very good location, ok for the price.
The location is great. The communication with the hotel was excellent. The rooms in general were renovated. The mattress was not new and inclined due to use. In our room was a strong smell of sewer on the first day, which disappeared after that. Besides this, the studios are very good.

Not for large people or light sleepers!
We had a great stay in Budapest. We stayed in the small studio and it was very small, as expected. The room is very tight and I've come away with bruises on my legs where I kept walking into the bed frame so look out for it! The studio was very clean and quiet. It was also in a perfect location. Everything was in walking distance. We had a fairly late flight but communication with Amber rooms was very good and we were able to check in online in advance and the self check in instructions for our arrival were very thorough. I wouldn't recommend this room for friends that aren't super close as there is a sliding door between the bathroom and the bedroom which doesn't hide any sounds/smells!!! The light and fan in the bathroom are on a motion sensor so if you are getting up in the night, you can hear the fan and see the light from the room. There wasn't a curtain over the door which meant the room was very bright as soon as the sun was up. We had to use our coats to cover the door to block some of the light.

Worst place
By far the worst place I’ve stayed. They told me is a place for two people but as soon as I opened the door the room was finished before it started. The place is filthy, the sink of the toilet is blocked. The floor is dirty and have to wash your feet almost every time u walk on it.

Dear Guest ! Your studio was checked before check-in by our house keeping staff. In case you have an issue with cleaning, please let us know. The size of the studio is listed on Expedia and in case a small studio is too small for you you should book a Large Studio.

Parking on the street is free after hours and on the weekend while during the day, street parking is limited to 3 hours max. A daily parking lot is confused to find, inconvenient to access, and the parking fee is not as described.

((reduced one star due to strange behavior of the middle-aged lady at the reception - you need to have a course on how to interact with customers)) Good location in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Though our studio was road facing, we didn't hear much of noise from outside. Bed okay, but pillows very hard to sleep. They reasoned that as the cleaning staffs left, they couldn't give me different pillows - ridiculous. Sofa bed was okay. Small kitchenette inside with basic utensils and small fridge. No essential kitchen supplies, except dishwasher liquid. Small TV, but with mostly Hungarian channels. Bathroom decent. Basic low quality hand wash and body wash available. Bring your own body wash shampoo to be safe. Bathroom doesn't have switches, lights work on motion sensor - this is a stupid idea to be honest. Internet is decent. The reception works limited hours, till 19h00. Free luggage storage room available

We have only one kind of pillows. Some guests say they are too hard, other guests say they are too soft. Overall, we have one kind of pillows and cannot exchange them into others. We recommend to book next time a 4 or 5 star hotel in our neighborhood which will cost 4 x more, but offer all comfort you are looking for. Your comment is insulting by the way, we might inform Expedia about it.

The location is perfect. The staff are fabulous. They have a washer in case you are on a longer holiday. I cannot say enough good things about how helpful and kind everyone was. It is like a small studio with some hotel services. However, know that it is a pillow and two small towels and they charge if you want more. Did not bother me as this is by far the best value in Budapest. I would ABSOLUTELY stay again.

The studio was booked last minute but was everything I needed. Good size space for a solo traveller and check in was nice and easy. Location is great - I was able to walk to anywhere in the city (I like walking) but good transport links nearby too. One small thing - I had a qualified for a bottle of wine at check in as an Expedia VIP customer. The lady at the desk couldn't find one at the time but said it would be dealt with ASAP. Unfortunately I never received that bottle.

Excellent. Location, communication, cleanliness everything was great. For parking owners recommend best possible option in near vicinity. Some people said that their pillows were too thin, for me they were perfect. Matress is a bit harder which suited me, I had better sleep than at home... Don't hesitate to ask for any help, hosts are amazing.

A very lovely and comfortable place.
very comfortable and renovated place. Very good cost-benefit ratio. I really loved the good matress. For me it was better that a 4 stars hotel, since it had a kitchen (to cook healthier food than in restaurants which anyway were closed due to corona virus) . The place is close to several metro stations of the m2 and m3 lines and to the river. The host is very honest and helpful. I will come again as soon as possible.
