"The immediate neighborhood is pretty run down (as much of downtown Portland seems to be) and seedy looking but felt safe. It is about a one mile walk to downtown and very near bus and tram lines so transportation was convenient. There is nice courtyard to sit in and read or enjoy a snack of beverage ..."

"The young lady working at the front desk the day we arrived and the day we departed went above and beyond. We arrived well ahead of time and asked if there were any early check ins. We had a room with 2 queen beds but she was able to find 2 double beds and honestly that was much better for my daughter ..."
