"advertised a continental breakfast----no eggs--waffle Iron didn't work 1st day----I feel like I need a refund-----3days no eggs 2 floor wasn't clean in my room"

"As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Gina was by far the sweetest young lady. She explained everything to me and showed me where the elevators were at as well as making sure I was comfortable. The room was all that and more! The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! I would definitely be back here when I visit my best friend again! 10 Stars if I could rate it that high!"

"Clean and well maintained hotel. Loved our stay. I was a little disappointed because the hot tub was broke and they upgraded my room to one with a hot tub without me even asking. We had just gone to the World Cup in Kansas City the day before and I really needed a hot tub. Thank you so much. It was greatly appreciated."

"The room was huge. So much space to move around. Thank goodness for the toiletries bc we were only staying for 1 night & pack very light. The breakfast was ready before the set time, so whomever is leaving before 6am on the weekend will surely get a bite in before heading out."

"The traffic near the hotel was crazy, as usual road construction, weaving thru a restaurant parking lot to get the hotel was weird; literally took 12 minutes before someone greeted us (another traveler and myself) and check us in, it was 4:16 PM, so nobody near from the front desk. The Machine Shed restaurant within walking distance, was great food, and incredible staff."

"We came back to this same hotel from a stay in 2025. It has significantly gone downhill. The entrance, hallways and doors are scuffed and look really worn. After check-in we found that our room was not cleaned. We specifically requested a room on the backside of the hotel to avoid Interstate traffic noise. The request was not communicated. Our room was clean and smelled deeply of Pine Sol. It had a fire alarm that continuously chirped, randomly. The first night, we called a front desk personnel...

"The rooms/gathering areas/breakfast, and staff were amazing! The only hiccup we had was when we went to check in, they didn’t have us down that we were staying there. When I booked months ago through Expedia I had booked a (2 night) Friday and Saturday night stay. Then we had something come up that we needed to cancel just the Friday night and keep the Saturday. On Expedia it showed that my Friday night was canceled and my Saturday stay was still booked And even sent me alerts that my stay was...

"Room was okay, bed was comfortable, but facility was not very clean and breakfast was mediocre."

"So the hotel room was great.. one of the elevators were broken and with this property being as big as it is it needs at least 3 or 4 to keep the flow going. I was on the 7th floor alone and it was dreadful waiting. Normally I would just take the stairs in that situation but of you have luggage and small children it can be a bit tricky. Also there were A LOT of people there due to baseball tournaments so only having 1 functional elevator was ridiculous. Loved that room though!"

"We were charged a parking fee. There was nothing on our confirmation receipt about the fee. After we checked in the front desk person handed us a parking flyer to place in our window and told us it would be $7.00 to use the parking lot. I would expect a parking fee for a full service hotel in a downtown setting, but this was a convenience motel in a suburb of a small city in Iowa. Hidden fee...inexcusable"
