Please count all your minibar items when you checked in to the room. We just got charged for some minibar items that we never used a couple hours after checking out.
Hotel facilities is great, but we have some trust issues with this hotel.
When we first checked in, the family room that we booked for has a strong vomit smell, so we asked Kelim from the front desk to help change us to another room. The interaction was not great due to how he made us feel that it was our fault that the room was not in an acceptable state. There was no more family room available so we got put in a room for 2.
The hotel later made adjustment and got us into another room for 4, and the staff who handled this was very courteous with superb service.
We spoke to the manager who is wonderful and she provided us with complimentary breakfast for 2 of our days as an apology.
Throughout the whole stay, I cannot get back the feeling that I am here to relax but constant on edge about having to speak with the hotel about one problem or another.
We finally checked out this morning and things seem to go well but then we received a charge out of nowhere for the minibar items. Make me a bit suspicious if this is a revenge move from the hotel but that would be too petty for an established hotel to act this way.
Although the facilities and location is great, I think there could be an improvement in housekeeping and front desk staff training to avoid a bumpy experience for guest.
