Took the train from Luxembourg to the Central Station (Gare Centrale). From there took the Metro to Schuman station (4 stops) and it was about a 10 minute walk to the hotel from there. Need to buzz in to reception and then again once inside. After that was able to register and get my keys for the room and a separate key for the exterior doors.
While it’s listed as a hotel, I sort of thought of this as a short-term studio apartment rental. Room was really big. There were a few quirky things that I was able to sort out and I was able to quickly settle in. Hotel is in a primarily residential area which was fine. I was able to either walk to my intended destination (30 minutes max) or get there by taking the Metro from Schuman station. There are several small markets and restaurants available in the area near Shuman. I was initially concerned about the amount of street noise I heard from my room but it is much quieter at night and I slept very well the two nights I stayed there.
You’re able to reach BRU airport by either train or bus from Schuman station. I took the train and it took less than 20 minutes. The bus (#12) actually runs right past the hotel but you need to catch it from Schuman since it has limited stops.
Would definitely stay there again.
