Beautiful hotel, our comfort room had a Queen size bed and soft sheets and pillows, so comfortable. The hotel is grand, suitably named and staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Best bed in town in a lovely classic old hotel

Lovely old hotel enjoyed the Bar a lot, as well as the Lobby area. The area of the hotel is ok, a little seedy but close to the city centre. The bed was absolutely fantastuc, great comfort indeed.

Nice older hotel with good staff. Walkable to square/downtown. Excellent bedding and quiet room. Only complaint is that the room smelt faintly of cigarette smoke.

We stayed four nights at this hotel, and the experience was excellent. Its location is ideal, just minutes from numerous shops, fine restaurants, Brussels Central metro station, and key tourist attractions. Shopping options nearby include well-known stores such as Zara, H&M, and many others at reasonable prices. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, offering a wide variety of fresh selections—fruits, juices, breads, and proteins. The front desk staff provided attentive and courteous service throughout our stay. I can confidently recommend this hotel. If you plan to visit Brussels, remember to bring an umbrella, as it rains frequently. For added convenience, the hotel also offers umbrella rentals for 2 euros for 48 hours. Immerse yourself in the charm of this city and enjoy every moment.

Very nice hotel,in a great location, very close to metro, tram stations. The main shopping street is 1 minute away. The Grand Place 10 min walk. I noticed a bit of wear and tear in the hotel but to me it just added to the charm. The staff was helpful. I prefer Old World charm to faceless modern style hotels. So this hotel was perfect to my taste.It was also nicely decorated to Christmas getting guests in festive mood. One thing did not stand out: prior to my arrival I emailed hotel and asked to arrange an airport transfer. To which the staffer replied that they can arrange a luxury car for 114 euro.The next option the staffer offered is public transport. I do not need luxury car nor do I want to drag huge suitcase on the train, so I just took a taxi for 50 euro. While staying there I learned that hotel could have arranged much cheaper pick up using company Autolux.The staff actually called this service for me twice while I was in Brussels, including airport transfer for 42 euro when I was leaving. This is my only complain. Perhaps, the staffer gets a little something from this "luxury" transfers. Not cool. Other than that I definitely recommend this hotel!
