This apartment was a short walk to the Grande Place. The staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions. Although this apartment is self-check in, check in was easy with codes provided to get into the building. The apartment key lockbox was well-labeled on the left wall, inside the building. The apartment was clean and we appreciated the elevator/lift as most places we stayed in only had long, narrow stairs. Our apartment was on the inside of the building with a door facing another apartment on the opposite side of the courtyard. Because of this we kept the door closed and the curtains drawn. Some fresh air and sunlight would have been nice. The apartment is a 10-15 minute walk from the Central train station so an option if you want to be near the main square and the train station. If you use Google Maps to find the apartment from the train station look at the different route options because the fastest route takes you through some very narrow alleys that should be avoided; take a route along a main street even if it’s a little bit longer. There were plenty of food options near the apartment and it was nice to sit in the outdoor dining areas.
