"Nice clean hotel. Main public areas and hallways have been updated, on site restaurant was lovely as well. Our room was older, clean ,but older. Showed signs of wear,( paint chipped, cleaner stain in bathroom by sink) but overall nothing of concern, esp since it was 1/2 the price of staying closer to the airport.
Breakfast buffet was great as well.
Staff was super friendly and helpful also.

"We loved our stay. It is such an elegant home with a nice connection to Canadian history. It was expertly updated and is extremely comfortable. Elizabeth and Glenn were consummate hosts, with a warm welcome and delicious breakfast. Parking is easy, location excellent. We traveled to Pictou for a concert at the DeCoste Centre (also amazing and within walking distance) and Seabank House was obviously the right choice because the performer also stayed there. And be sure to visit Grohmann Knives just a but farther along Water Street. Thanks to our hosts. It was perfect."

"Wish I could send the pics I took. Paint peeling off door, sink drained so slowly, rust on mirror, lots of rust on heater in bathroom. I had stayed there before the room was much better than this one"
