It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. "We stayed here to be close to the TPC River Highlands golf course. It was super convenient. It is well situated to get around to many different towns to do day trips and big box shops. The restaurants within walking distance are delicious - namely, Mizzu Asian, The Cromwell Diner, Cafe Fiore just to name a few. "Super clean and comfy! All the staff we interacted with were absolutely lovely. Especially the barista! It was a quiet location even though it was right next to a busy highway. The only "downside" is that the doorway area isn't as well soundproofed so you do hear a lot of hallway sounds, though, that really wasn't any issue for our trip as there weren't any disruptive guests. Overall, great choice- would stay there again!"

"This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink."

"The location, description, and fee did not match. Upon arrival, I felt like I was going into a motel. There was people hanging around the “hotel” and I arrived around 6pm. These folks were not clean in appearance. I chucked it up as it wasn’t directly onto the property. Check in was smooth but as I made my way to my room the “hotel” of an aroma of a dirty baby and overflowing trash. Trash was left out and housekeeping wasn’t on top of things. I unfortunately didn’t have the funds in flexibility...
