"Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit."

"Jeg boede på hotellet i en uge, sammen med min søn. Han sidder i kørestol så derfor er det vigtigt at tingene fungerer. Det var et fantastisk sted og alt fungerer, beliggenheden er også perfekt udgangspunkt til udflugter og byen super hyggelig. Værelserne og indretningen er gennemført og nyt og lækkert. Ekstra lækkert var saunaen."

"We stayed for 3 nights. Friendly staff in the restaurant. Everything worked and the apartments are spacious and so cozy. Very baby friendly! Although a bit of noise at night from other guests. Overall great stay with a nice location. "

"Sehr schönes Hotel, wir hatten ein großes und ansprechendes Doppelzimmer im dritten Stock. Es war sehr leise, von innen aber auch von außen ( obwohl zur Seite mit der Bundesstraße gelegen ). Sehr schicker und großer Wellnesbereich mit tollem Pool, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut, uns hat hier nichts gefehlt. Viel frisches Obst, super leckeres Rührei, automatische Pancake-Maschine und von allem genug da. Auch das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir...
