"Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!"

"Very nice room, staff responded quickly for my request for ice and extra cups ( we were 3 not 2 ) The hotel bar was very convenient and a residents discount was welcome . We really enjoyed the fact that it was only 5 minutes walk into town and there was a car park we could access at the hotel ."

"Really good sized room with a kitchenette, including a microwave, oven, and fridge. Would have liked air conditioning, but the fan was ok. The room was clean, and well situated looking out to the golf course. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. It was a nice touch having a birthday card with a voucher for a free drink in the room on arrival, as we were celebrating a birthday."

"We had a good clean spacious room in the old house. The bathroom was bright and clean but we could have benefitted from a non slip mat in the shower/bath. The place is a little tired and could do with sprucing up but the grounds and antiquity of the place made up for that. The leisure centre pool area was too hot and there was no way to cool down after a sauna as the showers were a fixed temperature. The bar and restaurant were good for the price with a reasonable choice of standard dishes. Overall good value for money but could be a lot better."
