"The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. "We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"Breakfast was ok but items on menu extra had to be paid for. Room was clean but dated. Shower was an electric shower that was nearly unusable. Low pressure and no temperature control. No replacement shower gel was left after room was cleaned. Staff were excellent and restaurant was well presented. Hotel room a low 3 star at best."

"Would definitely recommend Garden View. Its a beautiful space, very cozy, quiet & comfortable. It's finished to a very high standard with everything you need for a self-catering break. Views from the garden are stunning & a great location for exploring Pembrokeshire. Lovely welcome from the host & a very thoughful welcome pack, including hot cross buns for Easter. Train station, shops, pubs & Pembroke Castle within easy walking distance. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!"
