"Positive surprise of my trip. I expected the worst as this motel is located right by a busy road, but turns out the road is rather quiet at night and I could sleep quite well. Rooms are spacious, clean and functional. They must have renovated recently as the bathroom was modern and new with no sign or wear and tear. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The guest laundry is free, but only available in the afternoon. Will book again if I stay at golden."

"Another wonderful stay, we had found this gem a couple days prior stopping through for a wedding. Sleeping in that fresh air, surrounded by the mountains and wilderness. Revelstoke only 3km east. Everything was clean, staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. The beds are really comfy. The property is well maintained along with the “communal” hot tub."

"Beautiful location and views. Hotel is motel style rooms on multiple levels with easy parking, the room was simple and functional with a good shower. The meal at dinner was adequate but not outstanding. The Gazebo bar with an open central wood fire where you can toast marshmallows was potentially fabulous but lacked adequate bar facilities and a proper range of drinks. Poor usage of a potentially excellent asset. Overall the hotel was perfectly satisfactory but food and bar facilities let it...
