"The hotel is easy to find and very close to the Capilano Suspension Bridge and the ferry from Horseshoe Bay. There are 2 pizza shops across the road. Rooms have a small kitchen and coffee machine. "

"Clean and good staff. Spent 3nights there. Gave us an upgrade to a kitchenette. Very nice!"

"Our room was great, very clean and had fun touches like a yo-yo, comic book, French press coffee. Pool and hot tub were awesome to come back to after a long day of walking. Free bike rentals are cool. Only down side was we didn’t realize the on site restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch. Our own fault of course and not a huge deal as there are plenty of other restaurants around, but just a heads up for others that don’t look close enough at the website. "

"Very clean, modern rooms. Looks recently renovated. Rooms are big and comfortable for 4 people. Very pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was! Definitely recommend!!"

"Quaint and comfortable but a little on the small side. I’m not sure I liked the online check-in but it went smoothly and we were able to access our room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean and the price was right. That’s what’s most important. I would definitely recommend The Spot if you’re looking for a place to stay in Nanaimo. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Great central location to both Sechelt and Gibsons. The staff at the desk were friendly. Restaurant was nice, with an outdoor patio. View was great. Only downside was it’s located by the road and surprisingly a lot of traffic "
