We normally stay at this property when visiting the college nearby and we have a nice stay. We’ve stayed at this property about 5-6 times in the past year and a half and we’ve had a great experience. This time around it it was quite different. We had a change of plans and we wanted to stay just one night instead of two. We let the hotel staff know at noon time and after dithering back and forth with managers and regional manager and several calls to Expedia to assist, the hotel said no, we can’t refund your one extra night because it was prepaid was their final answer. Yes, that doesn’t make sense. On top of that, before we left, I attempted to iron my shirt and a black substance on the iron ruined it. So I am out a Polo shirt and a one night charge. Now they have lost our business for the next 3 years staying anywhere from 6 to 8 nights a year for the upcoming college years. Not good (or smart) customer service.
